All Dressed Chips
Here is where I'll be documenting my review of all of the All Dressed Chips I could get my hands on. Twitches, seeing that I'm a sad fat man when I don't have my snacks, picked me up a 5-pack of full-sized bags of All Dressed Chips on Amazon from several of the main manufacturers that make them. For those who aren't in the know:
All-dressed (French: assaisonnées) is a potato chip flavour popular in Canada. Ruffles, a major producer of all-dressed potato chips, describes the flavour as a mix of ketchup, barbecue sauce, sour cream and onion and salt & vinegar.
- Source: Wikipedia
To clear up any confusion, the bag is not made up these 5 flavors individually on the chips in there (a la bag of jelly bellies), but rather, a mixture of spices that's been placed in the whole bag, allegedly guaranteeing uniformity of flavor in each bite.
I'm currently forming my criteria, but they'll likely consist of a 1-5 scale, 1 being the worst and 5 being the best of:
* Consistency (both in same flavor and size of every chip)
* Crunch
* Flavor
* Scent (the first open of the bag should waft out a pleasant preview of the enjoyment that is to come)
* Volume (both in contents not settling during shipping and if the majority of the chips are crumb-sized)
More to come!
