Dang y0! that shit is dark!!

My favorite podcast is having me on as a guest. About 20 mins into the episode my fidgety fingers find a powerstrip mounted under the desk and turn it off. All the computers and equipment turn off and the host flips out. I lie and say "my leg must've rubbed up against it".

They turn everything back on and when they open the recording program hoping it'll say that a recording was in progress but hadn't been saved - do you want to open it? Instead, it just opened to a blank screen ready to record. I feel like an asshole, apologize profusely, and walk off the show, letting them know I won't be around to fuck up their show anymore and sorry!

The AKA Studio House is open for business! I get to be honored enough to check it out. I mostly go to cinco and shizzo's offices, which are decorated to fit their shows and personalities. While there, cinco's show is happening, but she's not broadcasting from her office (I'm told she's somewhere in the house though), and Syn is keeping an eye on the show on the computer in her office, and at one point has to fix the stream because an incompatible video file is playing, and the stream is dead. There's also a cake in the studio house that we all have to sign, and I've got the perfect item to add to cinco's office, and I'm waiting for people not to be around so I can sneak it in there.

I buy a house just to have all of AKA over for a party. It's somewhere in the woods, and has an endless amount of rooms and floors, most of which I've not had a chance to fully check out before everyone arrives. Most rooms don't have lights because of the natural light they get from the outside, but it gets really dark at night.

A handful of Americans go to the Cuban border, into a building with a long hallway and small room to watch a recent Trump speech and a news story/documentary about it, because nowhere in America will allow it to be seen. During the speech on a very small TV, soldiers began entering the room, and taking random people to interrogation. After they accuse them of horrible crimes, which they won't admit to, they inject them with something. It kills most of them.

The ones that die end up earlier in history in the same hallway, where they either try to fight off the soldiers and escape but get killed, or do in fact escape, but later (possibly after they die of natural causes) end up back in the hallway again to fight/escape/die again.

We find out that Kurt Russell has been molesting one of my cousin's kids. A sting operation is all set to pick him up for the crime, we just need him to come to my aunt's house, and then they'll nab him. We call him under the guise that the kid is there and wants to hang out with him. We think he's on the way but he never arrives. The lead detective calls and tells us that they can't arrest him unless there's proof of life.

We go to his house and there are 2 naked dead women there. We're not sure who either of them are, but suspect one of them is Kurt, who either transitioned or disguised himself so we wouldn't know it was him. This story is being told in a dramatic made-for-tv movie available only on the new Hallmark+ streaming service. The service allows nudity and cursing, but still has commercials. But on the commercials are stars of so many of the Hallmark shows and movies talking about how weird it is that they're now reading scripts, including ones to promote their new shows and movies, with profanity in them. They get giddy about being able to say "asshole" on the all new Hallmark+

To attract more people to the industry of record collecting, new special edition vinyl is now out that lets you experience the music in new ways. I decide to pull the trigger and buy the new Frank Zappa You Can't Do That On Stage set. Unfortunately, I find out that Frank Zappa, and other members of his band, like to be naked on stage, and next thing I know, they're in my house rubbing their junk all up on my leg.

I pop that one off the turntable with the quickness, and put on a live Beatles-ish album that I get that features Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, and some other rock stars performing Beatles songs. Next thing I know I'm on the stage with the whole band around me performing. I listen to this record cover to cover.

I find out that Urban Ninja's girlfriend is going to propose to him. While I'm helping him setup his computer to be able to broadcast (possibly on AKA?) or do podcasts, I "accidentally" let that fact slip. This sets off a shitstorm where she's mad at me, he's mad at me, Twitches is mad at me. I go to my dad's house to hide, and somehow Urban Ninja gets the number to his house and keeps calling repeatedly in the middle of the night until my dad takes it off the hook. He apparently also finds out where he lives and is outside when I come out in the morning. I start the process of trying to make it up to everybody, which apparently includes doing their laundry for them.

I'm some kind of goombah mob dude. One of my guys (who's a perfect cross between Silvio Dante and Paulie Walnuts) brings a high powered rifle that "fell off a truck" and is in the backyard of my old house shooting it at birds. Every shot starts with a loud concussive THUNK, followed by a huge shell hitting the ground, followed by a bird hitting the ground. He lets my dad try it and he does the same.

Now I'm off to the casino and it's very swanky 1940s. I have my own "guy" (pretty much Delbert Grady) who I place all my bets with. On this night, he mentions the very beautiful ladies on the dancefloor, who are in college, and only come in on Fridays. I don't pay them any mind as I place my $9 bet (and ask him to verify my math is right), but then one of them comes over to me and tries to strike up a conversation. I'm not really that into her, but she's persistent, and also says she has a friend that she thinks I'll like.

I finally give in and go through some doors into another room. There's nobody in there so she says she'll be right back, and leaves through another door. After a few moments, I go through that same door and find that it's some kind of sting operation to get me on prostitution charges or at the least to tell Twitches I'm up to no good. I think Urban Ninja's girlfriend/fiancé picks me/rescues me from this situation.

Since I currently hate the idea of packing into an airplane, but still need to get to places, I utilize a new version of travel. Bundle up because you hold onto a handlebar on what's basically like a hang glider, and ride your way smoothly through the clouds to your destination. My first time, I (and I think Twitches was also hanging onto a handle behind me) kept the flight short and went to Ocean City, MD. While on the boardwalk, I went into one of the arcades, and decided to get my fortune from a machine. My fortune said something like "keep your eye to the sky. there's a storm brewing." I shrug and we get back on our hang glider to fly back home. We're suddenly bombarded with dark clouds, whipping winds, thunder, lightning, and large heavy raindrops. We hang on for the whole ride, but I woke up before I was sure we landed safely.

After many years of not doing it (because it's a thankless awful endeavor), we plan our family's fall reunion party. It's of course at my childhood house which has been demolished for almost 20 years now. In the dream, it's not our house anymore but it's abandoned, so we just take it back over. Because it's COVID, we have a couple of Zoom meetings going for family who don't feel safe coming. Some people I haven't seen since high school come to the party and I'm super excited to hang out with them. After a little while, however, I look at one of the Zoom meetings and they're all on it. I search the house and find one of them is hiding in one of the rooms on the meeting, while the rest of them have gone back to their houses. Huge disappointment ensues.

We're now back working in the office as we're required to. My boss is the choral director of the chorus I'm on the board of, and we have to sit next to each other. There's a new company policy that I have printed out at my desk that says if I'm caught on Facebook once during a day, I'm given a warning. If I'm caught a second time on that same day, I have to take a 30 minute timeout. There's no information on if I do it a third time, and I assume that the next day it just starts over with a warning.

I break the rule pretty quickly and am given my warning. She later asks me to research the answer to something, and that research either takes me to Facebook or the lure is just too great and I end up there again. She of course is standing there to catch me and sends me to my timeout.

At the completion of my timeout, I consider asking her to make that one not count since her request for me to research ended up landing me there. But she's not at her desk.
